About Alen Joseph

Hey! I'm Alen Joseph, a software engineer designing and shipping real-world software across backend microservices, real-time web applications, and high-volume media platforms.

Currently, I engineer core backend architectures at ITProfound Inc. in Bangalore using NestJS (Fastify), TypeScript, and MongoDB / PostgreSQL, handling booking, ordering, and user management workflows with robust authentication, Stripe payment processing, and FCM messaging.

Before this, I engineered user-facing frontend systems at Nirman Tech Solutions (now Navibyte) where I developed real-time availability tracking and multi-step booking workflows for a space and facility reservation platform. Prior to that, during an 11-month tenure at Malayala Manorama (one of India's largest media organizations), I engineered fullstack publishing tooling, including a searchable digital video vault and an interactive event calendar using Next.js and React.

I got into engineering because I love building systems that eliminate manual friction. If a task takes 5 minutes every day, I will happily invest time building an automated solution to do it right. That philosophy spawned LogMyCode (an AI developer productivity platform automating daily git reports) and EventsPlug (a multi-tenant event SaaS with embeddable Web Components).
